Commercial Construction

Our team of dedicated commercial sector professionals take our work to a very high aesthetic level. We know that often tight deadlines are required on these projects to which we strive to succeed.
 

Quality Control 

Every commercial building project we undertake has a dedicated Project Manager and contract manager who has a detailed array of experience. This provides our clients with the full 360 degree service throughout every aspect of the project, which ensures that there is meticulous attention to control over quality, programme and budget.

Residential Construction

Nucore have a proven track record working

alongside our clients design and management

team or providing these services in-house.

Our clients have found that using the full package from Nucore providing the Design, Management & construction services that this mitigates many of the usual delays, problems and issues that occur between independent consultants, suppliers and contractors. 

The majority of our residential builds are

designed and managed by us. For residential

new builds we offer our services with complete

design services (architectural, engineering,

landscaping and Interiors) with a dedicated

Project and Site Manager.

Although a majority of our works are new build

projects, Nucore have dedicated teams that

specialise in basement works, hard landscaping,

major and challenging structural alterations, underpinning, refurbishment, loft conversions and small scale extensions. 

Pre-Construction

Here we take the time to thoroughly assess and plan to mitigate risks associated with constructing the project. This includes evaluation of the construction site, permit and inspection requirements, and any other special situations that need to be resolved before construction. 

 

Nucore project management services ensure that all pre-construction stages are completed in liaison with build control, the local council party wall awards, H&S, utilities, public health and drainage.

We employ many in-house schedules, policies and procedures that our teams adhere too in order to ensure that all pre-construction measures are completed and the construction phase keeps to programme. Each project not only has a construction programme as standard but we also issue a design and decision programme along with a procurement programme.

Our Quantity Surveyors and Cost Consultants provide a comprehensive, transparent and fully itemised Bill of Quantities, tenders and quotations.

Site & Project Management

Our Site & Project Managers are experienced professionals that provide a solid foundation for every project. The site teams that we have in place will provide:

  • Advice and assist in programming

  • Coordinate and plan resources 

  • Monitor and control progress and quality

  • Provide consistent feedback and reports to the client

  • Ensure that all aspects of the project are carried out in accordance with the Scope of works, drawings and specifications.

  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety throughout the entire project.

  • Hold weekly site meetings where the client and their team are always welcome.

    • All our design, commercial and construction team members will be present for these meetings ensuring constantly coordination.

It is our Project Managers duty to provide the 360 degree service to our clients and in doing this, we can ensure that we achieve the best results for any given project. 

Design

Our international design team have created many beautiful bespoke interiors and buildings around the world. (Please see our Grosvenor Crescent project).

We can cover all phases of the design stage from conceptual drawings and ideas, planning through to construction issue drawings and the interior design package.

We hold weekly design reviews for all projects giving that time and thoughtfulness for creativity to thrive. These reviews often involve the construction team to give their thoughts and ideas to the designs at a very early stage, helping to mitigate potential future construction issues - along with Design Managers which are principles that are held very highly here at Nucore.

Construction & Commercial

At Nucore our construction and commercial sectors are one of the same team, ensuring close control of the project, budget and programme, and allowing co-ordination and efficiency of resources, labour, and transportation.

Our site teams all have long working relationships with our suppliers and sub-contractors. Everyone knows and follows the Nucore polices and procedures, and work hand in hand with the clients team.

    • Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).

    • Green Oak traditional timber framing.
