Park Avenue Ealing

This project was a detached 1960s house in a residential area of Ealing which Nucore took on as a design and build. We worked closely with EE Architects in delivering the exceptional quality and standards that was a result of this build.

The project involved the demolition on a single corner property and the construction of 2 timber framed double storey dwellings, which become two three bedroom semi detached properties.

Nucore constructed this project as a timber frame build whereby timber studs were used within the external structural wall in order to carry the loads imposed before transmitting them to the foundations. This was implemented throughout the project on the floors, walls and roofs. These properties were exceptionally built as the timber frames allowed the buildings to be excellently insulated, energy efficient and with the use of natural materials more sustainable.

The project also came with its complexities as it was situated on a busy residential road that had very tight constrains for work to commence and deliveries to site.

However, the entire project from demolition to completion took 10 months which was within programme and budget exceeding clients expectations.
