Grosvenor Crescent, Belgravia

A major project on the UK's most expensive residential street. This refurbishment involved the conversion and alteration of five Grade II listed terrace dwellings into three and seven bespoke apartments involving major structural alterations and adaptions. This project was featured in Forbes, Mail on Sunday, and many other magazines and newspapers and can still be found online.

Located in a major conservation area, we liaised with the local conservation officer, English Heritage and building control ensuring regulations and heritage guidance were met and adhered to.

About the project

On this project we were the main internal contractor, we collaborated with the design team to provide a service that encompassed everything from, setting out, structural alterations, dry walling and plastering to design, supply and installation of staircases and balustrades to internal fitouts in bathrooms and kitchens.

We worked closely with our clients team of international designers and specialists based in New York to specify cutting edge technologies and high end materials such as designer

tinted glass sourced from a manufacturer in California.

In addition to these works, other bespoke installations included: Internal doors inlaid with a detailed bronze inner frame and highly complicated recessed ceiling build up,

purpose made bath frames with hidden openable hinge system and  single piece

marble fascia's, basins and baths, each with its own story of how we managed to transport from road side to its position hidden within a large building!

We created unique balustrades from photographs of the original design which was signed off by English Heritage upon first inspection.
